Lu Postu Vecchiu - SALVE

The experience started badly. we called to reserve a table for 6 people, but once nobody came to us. After a bit they clean a table and we can sit. the place was super crowded. children scream, a very strong gas. and the waiters did not respect the Covid-19 measures. they served us all night with masks under the nose and without gloves. we first ordered some entries, but they were nothing special (probably frozen) and ever a pizza. while we waited for the pizza, some waiters asked us if we wanted coffee, terrible service. After an hour, the pizza finally waits. it was terrible! the mozzarella tasted like a very cheaper cheese. we couldn't even finish them. when we went there to pay, they didn't know which table we were and they gave us the wrong change. not!

The place looks a little ruthless from outside, but we decided to try it. starter was nice, we had offer mix: some mixed fritted foods (fish balls, kartoffel sticks, mini panzerotti and pizzateig.) as vegetarian I asked for S...capricciosa not to sink. they brought me the rules. I told the waiter, he apologized, and he woke me what I asked. Unfortunately, the sweet on the pizza was terrible, the mushroom were definitiw they boiled, which was not cooked enough for the artichokes, mozzarella. no good experience. possibly a good place for fish, but I wouldn't do it for vegetarian, ever,

This place is situated in a small sea resort that pretty much closes down in the autumn, so you cannot expect gastronomical wonders. But being a part of Italy where people generally eat very well, one expects consistently high quality. It is ususally good enough,...but not consistently so. During the course of a week I had pasta with clams twice (the menu is dominated by seafood). The first time was better than the second, mostly due to better cleaning of the shells. With a slightly better oil, the first time would have been top notch. This double experience confirms an impression I've had over the years: You eat very well on a good day, less so on a bad day. For consistently high quality, go for the pizzas they are very good. The service is cordial, but not always efficient.

L'ambiente è molto informale ed accogliente proprio quello che ci vuole in prossimità della spiaggia. Siamo andati due volte, una a cena e una a pranzo, provando anche dei cornetti alla crema cotti a legna. Il cibo è nella normalità senza essere eccellente, pizza/focaccia buona con ingredienti di qualità (crudaiola). Cornetti alla crema da dimenticare. Al servizio non guasterebbe un sorriso ogni tanto, comunque precisi ed efficienti. Service: Dine in

Siamo stati a mangiare a pranzo in questo ristorantino per 3 giorni di fila, una mattina abbiamo anche preso i cornetti fatti nel forno a legna (buonissimi!! da provare assolutamente.. il cibo è buono, ma potrebbe migliorare.. i frittini non sono un granché, i primi davvero buoni.. le pizze sono buone, ma essendo noi abituati a mangiare la classica pizza Napoletana, non ci ha fatto impazzire. Le pucce buone. tempi di attesa un po’ lunghi, ma nulla di eccessivo.. Ottimo il caffè leccese.. l’accoglienza è la gentilezza dei ragazzi che lavorano lì è ciò che ci ha fatto tornare i giorni successivi..
