Golden Island Restaurant

As a CBC (Canadian born Chinese), I was impressed with the quality of food served at Golden Island Restaurant. I have a tradition of trying out Chinese restaurants during my travels so I have eaten at a lot of places worldwide. The beef chow fun and Jip Way (Hong Kong style crispy noodle) chow mein were well presented and tasty. I also enjoyed talking with one of the owners named Sam and found out he is an ex-Victorian and moved to Salt Spring Island some forty years ago. Will definitely dine in again on my family's next trip back....

Good food, excellent and fun service. We go there often.

Never knew how good I had it with Golden Islands till I moved off SSI and tried to find good chinese food elsewhere. Always get some when I'm visiting the island. No substitute for it.

Simple space with good service and great food. Fair value for what I ordered. Szechuan green beans are the best!
