Been here quite a few times and I love coming back. The food is consistently very good and the service is excellent. Not too much of an atmosphere but that takes no points away in my book. The ramen here is amazing. Highly recommend
Price is very competitive, but flavor is not as competitive. Ordered Tonkotsu ramen, the ingredients feels a bit over simplified. The egg is just regular hard boiled egg if you have to boil and peel the eggs anyway, it really not that much extra work to make ramen egg unless the eggs are purchased pre cooked.
This review was based solely on the Tonkotsu ramen.Service from the one waitress was nice. The cooks are all in the back, there’s no bar. The interior is dingy and rundown, just like the lot this building is located in.I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen like I do everywhere else in the world, it was very disappointing.Served with the wrong noodles for Tonkotsu broth, the broth itself was very bland and generic with no umami taste. You can easily tell that no time or effort went into making the broth. Then you have the two very very thinly sliced pieces of Chashu pork which were honestly gross and almost tasted like expired meat. Probably the worst I’ve ever had.No garlic, space, oil, or any other condiments were offered with the ramen. The quality of this ramen was similar to a three dollar bowl I had at a train station in Japan, but perhaps a bit worse and an order of magnitude more expensive.I don’t recommend this place.
The appetizers were so good! We had the fried chicken and the gyoza and they were delicious! Staff was great!Food: 5/5
