The Old Spaghetti Factory

Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. The location is also awesome to walk around and explore while you're waiting for your table even though my wait was only 10 minutes. The fresh bread here is very good and the cheesy garlic bread is amazing! A lotof classic pasta dishes that are all very good. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Our waiter took a long time to check on us and ask for our drink orders. By the time they finally came around, we were ready to place our orders. However, it took another 20 minutes just to receive our water, followed by another 15 minutes before they brought out the sodas our kids wanted to try. After that wait, we finally received our bread for the table. We were hoping for some nostalgia, but it was strange to see everyone else getting their drinks and bread much quicker than we were. And then, the wait for our food was incredibly long! We were seated shortly after 2 PM but didn’t start eating until 3 PM. So just a heads up: the service is slow. As for the food, it was just okay. I ordered the gluten-free pasta Alfredo, and we also had the chicken fettuccine (which had very bland chopped chicken), mac and cheese, and spaghetti with marinara sauce. The one thing I still love from here is their spumoni ice cream—it tasted fantastic, which is where most of my stars come from. On a positive note, our waitress and her trainee were exceptionally nice! So if you’re in the mood for American/Italian cuisine, have plenty of time to spare, and want to feel nostalgic in a dimly lit setting, then this is the place for you.

Delicious food! They offer some tasty gluten-free options. If you're a fan of pasta, you really can't miss out on this place.

I want to start by saying the food/entrees at the spaghetti factory are usually AMAZING! I have been to the one in Colorado many many times. Unfortunately, this one in Salt Lake REALLY disappointed me. I came here just a couple days ago, the bread was verystale, the entree came in a tin pan thing instead of on a plate, and it was just a really overall unpleasant experience. Not atall worth the $20 I spent. I would definitely NOT recommend going to this location if you are in the area.

Our favorite Italian restaurant is truly special to us, and it's the food and service that keep us coming back at least once a month. I used to bring my kids here when they were younger, and even though they’re now all grown up, we continue to create wonderful memories over delicious meals.
