Not excellent, but okay. I was glad to see East Coast Undershop classics like baked calf cuts. I haven't seen them since I lived in nh. I ordered the big calf cut with red sauce and provolone. it was all decent. the calf was as I expected. shapes and bakes, but this is what is a calf cut sub. the roll to which it came was of good quality, but the real sinking of this sandwich was the pale amount of soak and the unmelted cheese. with a little more sauce and the use of something heat this would have been a very decent sandwich, but as a result it suffered. I heard they're doing a pretty good cheese steak. I have to go back to find out.
I love this place. eating is simple and affordable. a great restaurant that makes a great sandwich and pommes. I enjoy the whole menu and have been eating there for years.
Good Food, Poor Customer Service. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I have enjoyed East Coast Subs for years, but would recommend that someone take the additional time to drive to the 5018 S. State Street location. The communication and customer service skills of the staff at the 3490 S. State Street location are asinine. My coworkers and I went to lunch there today. This was not our first visit to this location (we have been there two or three times before), and previously we have not had any grievances with this location, other than we have had to take back sandwiches for being incorrect orders. Today, the entire staff was unfriendly and opposing, all because we requested...read more
The ChinWag Review East Coast Subs. Today I visited East Coast Subs and I couldn't think of a better time to post my review for it. If there is one thing you should know about me this is it... Sandwiches never sound good to me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the occasional sandwich but you will never hear me suggesting a sandwich for a meal, well...almost never. When it comes to East Coast Subs they break the mold. They are not the classiest sandwich joint, the are not the healthiest option, and they are not the cheapest choice, but they do a lunch right Upon entering an East Coast Subs, and I have been to 2 of the 3 locations, you will notice a crowd unless you arrive a little bit...read more
