Taco Quetzalcoatl's - Salisbury

Cool little hole in the wall, good for intimate dinners or lunches. Family friendly, lovely staff. Food was tasty and authentic Mexican faire. Only negative was that it took a while longer than it should have and the restaurant smelled like burnt oil. Very accomodating to any and all requests. Very generous with the guacamole and salsa. Also extremely cheap!

Great food and amazing service, you can tell that the food is cooked from the heart by someone with a lot of passion. The food is different to anything I have tasted which goes to show how Westernised other Mexican restaurants are, this is truly authentic - even the corn chips are homemade. 10/10 will be back ????????

Booked to go here with workmates based on a review I had read. The review didn't mention how teeny tiny this place is- we booked for 8 and took up the entire restaurant! The service was super friendly, serves are very generous and prices are ridiculously cheap. The nachos my friends had looked so good, I certainly had food envy. I had enchiladas with Aztec mole. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the sauce but apparently it's very authentic. I just coated the enchiladas in the hottest sauce on the table and then quite enjoyed it. Would go back for the cheap prices and good service alone. Give it a go!

Tonight I made my first and certainly last visit to Taco Quetzalcoatl's. The menu has great vision, But overall the execution is seriously lacking!

A hidden gem!!! Omg in a dark back street in the middle of Salisbury is the best Mexican food. Very authentic and "basic" but so so delicious. We dined in this time but they also do takeout. Hubby and I are vegetarians (and one allergic to peanuts) and the chef- who was so friendly and attentive created variations for us on the menu items to make sure we were well fed and catered to our needs. Big serves and Very reasonably priced. So excited to have found his local treat- will be back for sure!
