Ichiban Japanese Seafood - Salisbury

Food was terrible and lacked seasoning. We felt rushed to get out. The waitress brought boxes around right after the chef was done cooking. No other sauces were offered except white sauce with the meal. Salad dressing choices were white sauce or ginger. Honestly if the food was seasoned I would give them another chance but no thank you

Imperial fillet diner is amazing.. chicken, shrimp and a fillet.. ., For a good price... Bartender is awesome as well

I came in on a Saturday night, expecting it to be busy. They don 't do call ahead seating on Friday and Saturday, so I get there at 8pm to put my name down. I was told the wait would be at least 35 minutes. Fine. I wait outside because the speakers will call your name when your table is ready. What upset me is that even though I wasn 't the last person to enter that night, I was one of the last people to be seated, along with the couple who entered right before closing. I was seated a little after 9pm. I didn 't get out until after 10:30pm and couldn 't really finish my meal because I was rushed out the door. (This is why I came in early, to avoid employees having to put in extra work time. I was disappointed with the cooking show. There were no tricks done at all. This is why I opted to wait for a table at the grill rather than eating at the bar. Knowing what I know now, I 'll probably get my food to-go next time since there wasn 't anything unique about this experience.

The food is basic. Not nearly the best Japanese but not bad. The staff are friendly for the most part. We've been here a couple of times and it's been consistently decent. The wait has never been bad either. Nothing to lose trying it out for yourself. :
