Growers Pub In Sal - Salinas Ca

Food is fantastic. Service is wonderful. I had the calamari steak and it was made perfect. My husband had steak and his was great as well!

Quiet, hidden gem. I’ve spent 7 days in California, eating at 12 different 4.5 Star restaurants through my travels. Growers Pub, Tommy and the Ahi Tuna took the win by a long shot. I would travel back to Cali, just to eat at Growers in Salinas.

1/13/24 I have been coming here for 5 years Ordered Pime Rib medium well, just slightly pink for the third time, and the experience was the same. A plane tasting piece of meat, and a little on the dry side. I seriously do not recommend it. Go to a specialty steakhouse where they know how to prepare it. Service is good overall but sometimes lacking on details, that falls on management, the servers do try their best. Understand my experience, it's a high-end restaurant, and pricy. If you are a serious meat eater, I recommend the Rib eye.

My wife and went this Restaurant approximately two weeks ago for dinner, I ordered Risotto and prawns and I was shocked and disappointed that you had to pay two separate prices for this meal, I’ve had this similar before at other restaurants in Monterey and I have never been told that risotto is served as meal by itself and anything else is a separate price,this is a disgrace, this will my first and last time that I will ever go back to this restaurant, to think you came highly recommended by a coworker of mine, sad to say I was very disappointed, you need to do a review of how you package your menu. Considering the prices you are charging.

My total bill was $69.85 including the tip but the server added $10 more without my authorization. The manager promised she would return my money but I never received it back to my credit card. I have no plan to go there again. Please always check your credit card statement after eating at this restaurant. That is why I found that I was overcharged.
