Saigon Noodles - Salinas

Stopped by on a roadtrip and was delighted by the flavor of this food. Even three picky kids left well fed, which doesn’t happen often for us. Thanks!Food: 5/5

Been coming here for the years, the food is usually delicious, except for how I just found a hair in my pho. However, this review is mostly for the staff. As a server myself, i feel like it is important to be attentive and check on guests often. The only time I saw my server was when she took my order, never checked up on me after I got my food. I tried to be patient and understanding, but as slow as the restaurant is, the service shouldn't be lacking.

Food is great when you dine in. Take out does not taste the same : I got the pho chicken noodle and the chicken tastes like rotisserie chicken. My bf got the rare flank steak pho and it had weird slimy pieces of something. It was either fat or something else. I will only dine in from now on :

This is an amazing and efficient little restaurant, I’ve had the sandwiches which are all good , my fave plates are the spring rolls appetizers and peanut sauce, lemongrass chicken and shaking beef over the garlic noodles! My family loves this place . We go at least once a month . Plenty of choices if pho is not your dish .
