Old Town Fish Chips - Salinas

Was in the area n craving fish n chips. pretty big portion s and really good battered shrimp n tasty fries. not much flavor on the fish but the hot sauce n tartar sauce helped. would come here again for a quick lunch.

We found this place through Door Dash.. WOW WOW!! Excellent food .. AND they included malt vinegar with the fish and chips. This is our new favorite.

Fresh. Piping hot and a good batter for fish and shrimp.Service was very friendly and they got me in the door with their churro sample at the food and wine festival.

I work for a British Co and pre COVID go to the UK several times a year. These fish and chips stack up to any in the UK. Really worth while to have them

Fish and chips deep fried Alaskan Cod. Delish. Just yum. Perfect. Filling. Also had to try the fried artichoke hearts. Gotta try at least once. Now I'm good. Don't need to do that again. It wasn't horrible. But it wasn't for me. I'm not sure what I expected. Also got the hush puppies. They were decent. It was ok. Also got a baked potato. It was smaller than I expected. I'm not sure why I thought it would be bigger. But it was plenty enough. Didn't need to be bigger. Also got an order of the churros. But I never did get back to them. They smelled good though. My order was ready less than 15 min later. Staff was helpful and friendly. I'll be back for the fish and chips for sure. (The coleslaw was good also). This was my first time here. But it sure won't be my last. I'm not sure I'll get passed the fish and chips and side orders. Cat least for awhile.
