All the items were filled with the same ingredients just wrapped in a different tortilla. No originality with the items at all. To make it worse the ground beef they used was bland and not good. Consider with care if you do not mind simple bland food.
WARNING dangerous food I 'm still regretting it 9 hours later You walk by the kitchen to get to men 's room. Form the corner of my eye, and all up inside my nose I should have known and left but I was tired from 10 hours of driving. Sat at bar to wait for takeout. If I dined in I would have not paid for anything. Waitstaff asked kitchen if they had chicken breast, yeah we got some in last week! The Absolute Worst authentic Mexican food I 've had. It does have some of the markers of authenticity, unfortunately they are of how poorly some people treat their stomachs. If the kitchen staff eats like this, ...... (something not good). a disaster of inedible ingredients. Chicken breast was possibly beaten with a hammer for five minutes before it was cooked. Utterly inedible. Prison riots have started over food this bad. Tomato paste for salsa. The $1.90 bottle of Tecate earns the star
There is nothing better than the special plate. We live in Dallas, but crave La Casita and stop whenever we are close by.
I should have checked the reviews first. Way way over priced for barley what I would call Mexican food. Everything is bland and nowhere near authentic. I order beef fajitas and added shrimp. They took away steak for the shrimp I added and paid for. Smallest portion I've ever had in a Mexican joint. Plus the charged
Went here for dinner recently. Really gone down hill. Had the most akward waiter I have ever experienced....bet he said a total of 6 words to us. He came over to our table, and just stared at us with his notepad, never asked us if we were ready to order. Stale chips (probably the third time in a row for this), flavorless food. I got a refill on my ICED tea, and when the cop came back to me there was no ice. I didn't notice it for a few seconds, and the waiter never came back to our table from the time we got our food until we are ready to leave. I guess ICE comes at a premium. If you're in the mood for Mexican food, go to the other La Casita on Crawford. It's 10 times better.
