Patio Pancake Place - Salida

I can't believe this place might close! I've always made it a point to visit, going out of my way to eat here whenever I travel from Texas back home. When my husband passed away, the staff were incredibly kind and generous to my family, whom they had never met before. The food is fantastic, and I don't know where I'll go for my chili now. I'm truly heartbroken. This restaurant is a real institution. Thank you to the entire family for the wonderful service over the years. I use the coffee cup every morning and just wore my shirt yesterday. You will all be greatly missed.

A good selction of breakfast entrees at the reasonable prices. Coffee is extra. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Would eat here again if in Salida.

Great old fashioned breakfast, super well done. Excellent service.So sorry to hear it's closing in August 2022. Glad we were able to eat here before that.

Delicious food! The sausage gravy was outstanding! There was a mix-up with the bill, and I'm not quite sure how it happened, but the manager eventually took our word for it and resolved the issue.

It was a bustling Thursday morning when I passed through Salida. There were many locals waiting to eat, and I quickly discovered why. The 15-minute wait was absolutely worth it. The breakfast options were typical but far superior to IHOP. I couldn’t help but enjoy every bite! This is definitely the place to stop for breakfast.
