Love Balti - Salford

I’ve lived in Manchester for 5 years now and always found Indian take aways to be hit and miss (mostly miss! After discovering Love Balti during the Tier 3 lockdown however it’s now my absolute go to Indian restaurant and I wouldn’t order from anywhere else. They have a decent sized menu with loads of options all our orders have tasted fresh and tasty, as well as been hot on arrival which is a bonus. I don’t usually order meat from take aways after having some bad experiences but I’ve tried the lamb passanda and chicken tikka jalfrezi from Love Balti and enjoyed both! Delivery times can be long but it really is worth the wait!

I’m not usually a massive fan of Indian takeaways but Love Balti is like no other! The curry’s are amazing, the meat is such good quality and the chips are unreal! I can’t wait to order my next one. I will be recommending this place to everyone Thank you

This is very close to our house so we always have our takeaways from here and have never had any problems. The food is very reasonably priced for the area and great offers on meal deals, and sides with your curries. The food is always delivered on time and piping hot, the last time we was missing a Pilau Rice, we called back and a new one was delivered within 10 minutes so cannot fault. The curries are always very tasty and as described on the menu, a great choice of vegetarian options too. I would highly recommend I Love Balti!

Ordered online, when completed said it was going to be 1HR 20. Called to cancel due to this. They were aware of this and had a attitude straight away. Didn’t receive a confirmation saying this was cancelled and were getting our money back so called to double check this. The guy on the other end of the phone was swearing and yelling, saying he wasn’t going to give the money back till a few days because he “had better things to do”. He yelled at my “husband” (as he called him) so I told my “husband” to put me on the phone to explain. When I came on the phone he yelled at me telling me my “husband” had a bad attitude. So I told him to stop yelling and he continued so I asked his name and he said the words “I’M THE F BOSS MAN” and continued to yell. Worst service after being a customer here multiple times, never had bad service ever and this guy has ruined the whole thing. I would never ever associate myself with this restaurant again and never pay for this type of service. My advice, if this is the “BOSS” i would never ever order from here. Also seeing the reviews regarding hygiene from January, after my google research today, I wish I never ordered from there in the first place (rats)!!!!

I ordered food from Love Balti online and I was informed the food would arrive within 1 hour. I had specifically requested that the food was delivered to the door because I am currently shielding due to Covid-19. I received a call from the driver to say that he was downstairs and I needed to go and collect the food. I politely asked the driver if he could bring the order to the door as I am in a flat and unable to go out at the moment. At this point the driver interrupted me and said You have 2 minutes to come and collect your order or I will take it back . I was shocked at the response I got and kindly asked again if he could bring it up and he refused, telling me he was going back to the restaurant and I needed to speak to the manager. I rang the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager and yet again I was met with very aggressive and abusive language. I tried to explain to the manager the situation I was in but he was not interested and told me I needed to speak to Uber eats about the delivery. He then proceeded to hang up the phone, I have since tried to contact the restaurant and the driver regarding a refund for the food I have not received (over 2 hours after ordering it) but to no avail. I would strongly recommend that anyone who is thinking of ordering, just avoids this place all together. The manager as he likes to call himself is a disgrace and should really reconsider the position he is in since he clearly lacks people skills.
