Los Amigos - Salento

We'd heard about tejo and wanted to play, and this is the place! The game involves throwing hunks of metal at paper triangles full of gunpowder. With lots of alcohol on the side. It's a blast (no pun intended), although you'll probably get bored after a few games because it's harder than it looks. The bartender explained everything, and gave us some pointers. He said it's most fun with a group, but my sister and I just played against each other. A must-try activity!

We had a good time drinking beer and throwing a metal puck at a clay target with triangle explosives. This place is NOT free, we were charged 2000 per person and for two games, although I did not realise we had played for two games, as we never managed to explode all the triangles although we hit some of them.

We had an amazing night here. A bar for real people with real atmosphere. Rough edged and playful. Cold beer, shots of aguardiente and, off course, tejo! An amazing game and this is the place to play it!

We had a BLAST (pun intended) playing Tejo at Los Amigos. The staff is very friendly and love teaching you how to play this game. What a fun time!
