Willamette Valley Grill - Salem

I had the portabella mushroom fries and they where amazing. My mother ordered the jalapeno burger cooked to perfection. The burger was juicy and perfect amount of spice. The service was great thanks to Kara and the decor was modern nice. We will be back for one of there paint party events.

The Kitchen at the Red Lion Inn really turns out a lot of great food! We used to come quite often for their to die for all you can eat Smoked Prime Rib (yes that right SMOKED prime Rib! but sadly they ended the special quite some time ago also have been to a few Holiday dinner buffet's and everyone left full happy. The owners seriously need to do more advertising they definitely serve quality dinner but their never bust because very few know just how good they are I think that why the ended the Prime Rib special, because they just weren't making enough money every time we went they only have one or 2 other tables sat and they weren't ordering the special

Initial rating, wasn't able to try the food. Thinking the place is open until 11pm, we get there about 9pm. It says to seat yourself, so we do. We get a glance from the staff member and take our seat. As we wait for a menu, another staff is placing creamers and sugars on the tables (including ours) without any attention to the fact that we have been waiting for menus and water (or at the least a greeting). Finally after 15 min of waiting (we only stayed because we had a groupon) we are given the heads up that the dining was closed at 9pm and that appetizers were all that they were serving. We decided it was then that it was time to leave. We'll be back because we are now bonded by a groupon. I hope to then rate the food and not just the poor service and ambiance (there wasn't any). Horrible place for a date.

The absolute best part of the 3301 Ultra Lounge (which is connected to the Williamette Valley Grill) is the bartender James. He will serve you only the best drinks and treat you well. Just play some old jams from the jukebox and enjoy his company. When us-City folk come to a small town, this type of attention is what we crave. Absolutely, I will make a special trip to come back to this gem.

Horrible service, food came out cold. Food took forever to arrive. Waiter for got the food for birthday person. Talked with manager, they never called back
