On our way to De Smet, we decided to stop for a bite to eat. The coffee was excellent, and the egg sandwich we had for brunch was really delicious. It's definitely worth straying off the main road for this experience.

The owner is incredibly kind and even prepared a special dish for my daughter. Plus, they offer gluten-free options! I’ll definitely be returning whenever I visit San Diego.
The Homestead is a batch coffee shop for the Salem area. A huge hangout, the old-fashioned look from the outside blends perfectly with the trendy café look on the inside. This place is great for casual lunch sessions or just to eat or drink. Coffee options are great!
Cozy morning place for breakfast, and really really good coffee! Lunch too, of course! Lots of little places to sit and work, without being in someone else's space. And, finally, a coffee shop that's open in the afternoon!
