Sweetly Baked - Salem

I had a delicious cinnamon roll for breakfast, and I couldn't resist grabbing a cupcake for the ride home. I really wish I lived closer so I could enjoy this more often!

I visited the city to surprise a dear friend for her upcoming birthday, and we wanted to avoid the easy route of grabbing a cake from Safeway. Thankfully, we stopped by this delightful café for coffee! They offered the most beautiful and adorable cake for just $25. It was champagne-flavored, and honestly, it was the best cake I've ever had! The texture was wonderfully fluffy, perfectly balanced between lightness and density, and incredibly moist. At room temperature, it simply melted in the mouth. You could genuinely taste the love that went into making this cake! We will definitely return for more in the future!

This cozy café features a small but delightful menu. The star of the show is undoubtedly the kolaches, which are a Polish-Ukrainian sweet bread, but here they are filled with tasty savory ingredients or sweet cheese. Located right at the corner of our hotel, we indulged in nearly all the hearty rolls over a few days, as well as a few of the sweet options, two cupcakes, and three flavors of cake. Everything was excellent, and the dill pickle soup was also delicious. We took many photos that capture the essence of this place, but the flavors truly must be experienced firsthand!

I get cupcakes here far too often to not upgrade my rating. Love Sweetly Baked! Their cakes are also fantastic and worth the money.

Was looking for a place that sell cookies and sweet treats and decided to give this shop a visit! The shop offered varieties of cupcakes, cookies from the jar, kolaches, they also had hot cocoa bombs, and many more goodies to choose from. I got sausage jalapeños and brisket kolaches. I didn't enjoy the sausage jalapeños kolaches due to a strange smell of the bun. The brisket kolaches was decent. Didn't enjoy the cookies as much as I'd like. The cookies was too much flour and tasted off, possibly the used of white sugar and baking powder. Although the cupcakes were delicious. It wasn't overly sweet. Service was decent. I would come back for their cupcakes and trying other items on the menus.
