Shooters Cafe Saloon - Salem

My friend Jeff H took me to Shooter's Cafe Saloon to pass some time before a movie and possibly see a coworker. The building was dark at 10pm with little outside lighting. We were unsure which door to open at the entrance, but one was locked and the other was not. We chose the unlocked door and found ourselves in a bright room with the bar in the northwest, lottery machines in the northeast, bar height tables in the southeast, and pool tables in the southwest. The stereo system was playing a mix of country, alternative, metal, and other genres. The bar was well stocked and Jeff ordered a beer while I looked for a clean table. Unfortunately, most tables were dirty or had empty glasses on them even though the bar was not busy at 10pm on a Thursday night. The weak cellphone signal was also worth noting, as both Jeff and I had Verizon with the same phone but only experienced one bar of signal. I am giving this place two stars mainly due to the cleanliness issue. It's important to keep tables clean and glasses cleared in a bar, especially when it's not crowded.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend who had been there before. It was a busy Wednesday evening, probably due to a special event. The bartenders made good drinks, but they seemed disinterested. They were promoting a drink called velvet cinn-delicious, and there were staff members actively encouraging guests to try it. The location of the restaurant is not ideal, as the parking lot can be sketchy. However, it's a decent place to have a drink and do some gambling.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. It offers delicious bar food at affordable prices, perfect for those looking for a satisfying meal. The free pool on Sundays and karaoke night add to the fun atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and have a great sense of humor, making the experience even more enjoyable. Despite its location, the restaurant has a charmingly seedy vibe that adds to its appeal. Female patrons can feel safe and comfortable, as the male customers are quick to protect them. This place has truly won me over and I have a deep affection for it.
