As good or better than Love Love. Friendly and good food.
The owner, manager and staff are exceptionally friendly and very pleasant. The food was great. Our family had teriyaki chicken (so yummy), spicy teriyaki beef, yokisoba noodles and homemade crab rangoon. We are so very please. We will be returning as a family. Please visit. You won't be disappointed.
Hey there, so J's teriyaki used to be the best hole in the wall Japanese restaurant in Salem. That was until the original owners sold it. Now it has past hands twice now and the new owner are taking away all of the original recipes and changing it into kind of a real quick bento box place. It no longer has the sit-down restaurant Japanese feel it used to have. It's really sad to see it go from a Japanese Korean fusion amazing restaurant to a Japanese version of McDonald's. I've talked to the owners and they're just trying to make a buck they do not care about good food. Nothing's homemade or handmade. I am really upset actually! J's teriyaki used to be the best restaurant in Salem. Well I hope this is helpful.
Have been eating at Jay’s a number of years . The food is always been good to hear however today I was shocked by their new prices of $14 for teriyaki chicken and rice. Last time it was there it was just over eight dollars this was only a couple of months ago. The current price at love love teriyaki just around the corner is over two dollars less. I will not be returning to Jay’s again
