Jewel's Cafe - Salem

This is a wonderful family-friendly restaurant where you can relax and have a great time! The atmosphere is lovely, and the people are fantastic!

We are extremely pleased with the catering for our son's graduation party! The BBQ ribs, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, and green beans were all incredibly delicious! The team was wonderful to work with, and we wholeheartedly recommend them for your next party or event! - David Kim L.

I give this place three stars because it’s one of the few establishments in Salem that genuinely attempts to serve the community. With a bit more care and attention—and some heating, as it was freezing inside—this restaurant could be truly excellent!

The experience was decent but not remarkable. The menu features standard soul food along with burgers and sandwiches, and while the cocktail selection is good, the overall execution is just average. However, given that there aren't many dining options in Salem, it does have its place. I would recommend Grandma's Cafe down the road for better food, but Jewel's does offer alcohol, so it really depends on what you prioritize.
