The taste of the soup was amazing, it was the best soup and rolls I have ever had. The food quality was high and very fresh. I had the pleasure of meeting the new owners, who were super nice people. I give them 5 stars for being very professional. Thank you for maintaining the excellent work.
I recently moved to Salem and decided to try out a Thai restaurant as Thai food is my favorite. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the Nam Kaw Tod, a crispy rice dish with salad, from the menu. Initially, I was intrigued by the crispy rice component, but was informed that it traditionally comes with fermented pork. I opted for tofu instead. The dish was a delightful combination of crispy, sour flavors with a strong lemongrass aroma – simply delicious. I also ordered the green curry which was equally tasty, although I was hoping for aubergines in it. The medium level of spiciness was still quite hot for me, so I would caution others who are not fans of spicy food. Overall, I am excited to explore more of the menu at this restaurant as there are many unique dishes beckoning me to try them. I am so glad I discovered this place and I look forward to returning soon.
The restaurant is no longer good. Based on my phone interaction, I suggest changing the name to "Tough Luck Thai." I feel cheated by the new management; the food quality and service have drastically declined. I used to receive free appetizers with my $35 order, but this time I paid extra for shrimp and only received three pieces. The tom kha soup was too spicy and red in color, unlike the usual creamy white. The pad thai was only half full and lacked tofu. The flavors were overpowering, and the dish tasted too sweet. The friendly staff members are no longer there. I have been a loyal customer since the restaurant opened but was highly disappointed with my recent experience. After contacting the new owner for a refund, I was rudely dismissed. I will be disputing the charge and do not plan on returning. The decline in quality will likely result in the restaurant's closure. I urge new customers to be cautious, as the restaurant's previous reputation for excellent food and service is no longer valid.
So happy that this Thai restaurant found in the small strip mall above the road of coastal farm and ranch away. they serve food that are hot, fresh and tasty every time.
One of the better Thai joints in town. It isn't perfect, but the staff are nice, the food is quite good and they have a few dishes that are hard to find in Salem, like khao soy (no khao poon unfortunately). Worth a few tries, I drive out of my way for this place and I still find myself here several times a month!
