I had a few hours to while away in Salem and decided to try The Gov Cup as I needed breakfast and more caffeine. The interior is eclectic but very fun....

Great customer service! Delicious coffee bagels! Relaxing atmosphere! Definitely recommend for a Sunday coffee bagel run! Loved it!

Amazing place, great vibe and atmosphere, killer coffee and food, and the owners are super kind and warm folks. They are single-handedly saving Salem, IMHO. Love it here!

Really enjoyed this little spot, it was buzzing with life, but we were still able to get a table upstairs with no wait, so that was nice. I’m from Portland and miss my Spielman’s bagels, but lucky for us Salemanders they serve Spielman’s here with a few choices of cream cheese smear as well! I got a dry cappuccino and my friend got a chai and we both enjoyed our drinks. I got the “best ever brownie” to try as well and for some reason it tasted like licorice? Like maybe they used black licorice or star anise in it, but I couldn’t eat it. Every thing else was lovely, the decor is cute and it’s a fun spot to be to have your coffee.
