Firehouse Subs Se Commercial - Salem

At 1 o'clock at Firehouse Subs at Labor Day. The owner took our order and repeated the order back to us. Two chicken sandwiches on white. We got our lunch at home and started eating it. It wasn't up to the usual standard. We eat there often and always recommend it. The bread was wheat, not white. There were very little chicken and very little salad. The taste was off. My husband phone Firehouse. The owner accused the staff. He was the one who made our order! He didn't offer anything. He wasn't pleasant. That's it. I'm really surprised. If you go there and the owner, about 60 the subs. Be careful!

I want to like Firehouse subs but this is the second time I've been and I don't like the ordering process it seems not fluid and all the stuff on the menu is very meat oriented. I'm sure you can order sandwiches that are more vegetarian style. I'm not strictly vegetarian but when I have a choice I choose plant-based. they don't seem to be offering that. Overall the sandwiches are fine and if meat oriented subway style sandwiches are your thing then you'll likely think the place is okay and I'm sure ordering a few times makes for an easier ordering process.

I had the brisket sandwich and it was amazing. Clean business, good spacious seating. The staff was friendly and patient

Ordered about her app and said I would pick up at 1:30. But at 1:30 the sandwich was cold. No outdoor seating (at least in October), and the TV inside audibel played ads all the time.

Great customer service at this specific location. Staff is always very friendly and inviting. I would give 5 stars if it was not for one minor thing only. When a customer asks for extra of a specific topping of like black olives or Jalapenos they tend to not put extra ever really. Would be great also at all locations if customers could actually see there sandwiches being made.
