Fantastic customer service and outstanding food! We truly enjoyed our dining experience here!

During college graduation weekend, we visited Salem to help our daughter move out of her dorm. Instead of joining the crowds at a chain restaurant like Denny's, we took a recommendation from one of our daughter's friends to try Elmers. What a wonderful hidden gem! The menu offered fantastic variety, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. We were especially impressed by the HUGE German pancakes! The crepes were amazing, the omelets were cooked to perfection, and the ham and sausages were great as well! We beat the rush during our visit, but I can definitely see us returning to try more dishes the next time we're in Salem!

I like the fact that it is air conditioned, and a comfortable and inviting place within which to dine. The menu is American, and all of it appears to be very good. The iced tea was freshly prepared, and the food that was served to us was delicious! It is definitely a restaurant that we will patronize again.

Walked in at opening, and had our food quickly. Our server was great, and helped with some local knowledge. She was quite attentive, and even my grandbaby liked her. The portions were quite large, and we found ourselves wishing we had ordered smaller.

The portions were impressive, the food was delicious, and the staff were exceptional. Everything was reasonably priced too. 5 stars!
