Service is fabulous; atmosphere is beautiful; Food is fabulous. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic! The shrimp and grits here were unlike any I've had before, with a delightful blend of intricate yet straightforward aromas. My husband's lamb dish was likely the best he's ever tasted. Normally, I'm not a fan of lamb as I find it a bit whimsical, but this one melted in your mouth and had a wonderfully clean, rich taste. We also really enjoyed the cocktails! I had a red drink that was incredibly refreshing, with a strawberry flavor that wasn't too sweet—definitely made from scratch, not a premix. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and we will certainly be adding Blue Apron to our list of favorites whenever we visit Salem.

Food and service were excellent. This small place in Salem has become one of our favorites. The half-part option is great if you are not super hungry and allows us all to try 2 wonderful escapes. This is a very nice option that I want more places offered. We had a few special wine bottles from our wine cellar to couple with the food and the server treated it very well, the refreshing, as some places do not train server well with corkage.

That night was nice. My husband had the mussels and hangar steak with cream brulee. He was less than enthusiastic with his steak companions, but mentioned the mussels and sauces were savory and delicious. He was very happy with his cream broth. For me the whole meal was wonderful! The peasant tomato salad was fresh and well dressed without feeling hard. The shrimps came with a sauce I can't remember the name, but was fantastic. The peach and mango sorbet was more mango than peach and was bribed with fresh cherries and blueberries and I was absolutely delighted. The whole meal, really fantastic. The entire waiting team was amazing. Exceptional friendly and attentive; my waterglass was kept full and I don't wait long for each of my cocktails. Portions only small for the price. Would like to see some more veggies with the shrimps. My husband says he'll try a fish dish next time. Overall, highly recommended for a nice evening.

This is the best restaurant in Salem and a hidden treasure for Roanoke County!
