Nice place for a quick bite on the street. Exit I85 in Salem, VA. Diner Essen. This location did not serve breakfast, disappointing. Good service and value. Have fun.

Great, friendly service! I've eaten my water. Animated place for lunch, so it took a bit to get the food, but overall big visit. Very friendly staff. I'm trying the bar.

The food was very good. Only a waitress worked and it took some time to get our food (about 45 minutes). Not sure what the festival was! The waitress did her best and always told us that she was sorry that it took so long to get us our food.

The Hamburgers were very good and very large. They just have a limited menu, but the food they have is worth it. The service was great and they practice social distancing.

Great place to eat. Wonderful menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great decor, atmosphere and service. The desert display case in front is amazing.
