Le Porche - Sainte-Maxime

Small restaurant really well located out of the way. The decor is original, good atmosphere. The burgers are nice and the price is reasonable when you order a menu. The server is also pleasant.

Visiting there again after 6 years (2018). This year (2024) an original establishment, with a nice, friendly waiter. The food is very good today as it was back then.

Apparently a new management team took over this cosy little restaurant in the pedestrian streets of Sainte Maxime, 1 minute away from the sea side. The setting is very nice if you take a seat on the aisle under the outdoor wooden rooftop (thus the name of "porche"). The new owners are not only extremely nice but their food is excellent. This is snack food, but excellent snack food. You will find sandwiches cold and hot, bagels, and vegetable tartes. I tested their vegetarian bagel and it was really delicious with a toasted bagel and local vegetables and was only 6 euros. My brother took a chocolate mousse for dessert which was home made by the owner and was wonderfully good. And the coffee was served with a little meringue, which is an original nice little touch. I also noticed they had a children menu for only 6€ all inclusive. All in all an excellent value.
