La Reine Jeanne - Sainte-Maxime

We visited with our family (two parents, two young daughters). The service and the food were perfect! The only thing that disappointed were other guests (owner and friends?) being very loudly enjoying and drinking (and smoking).We ordered just one kids menu for the two kids and got a complimentary ice cream for both of them!

I absolutely love this place ! This september we only went there for the "apero" as the weather was too windy and we decided not to stay for lunch or for the beach. But even just for a drink its a very nice place , really relaxed and nice staff.They even advised us on others restaurants for lunch as their was too windy.I went there a few times already for lunch and the food is just outstanding and the service amazing.Definitely recommend for a drink, lunch or a beach day on the "transats".

We love this place at Plage de la Nartelle. Friendly staff, good food en a nice ambiance. This place is positively not so pretentious as the other beach restaurants at La Nartelle.

We had rediscovered La Reine Jeanne in 2015 and after kicking ourselves for missing eating here more often we swore to visit at least once a year from then on.We booked lunch for Friday 12th August 2016 and reserved two portions of the plat du jour, Aïoli at €19 (2015 €18). Everything was as perfect as before from the friendly greeting to the freshness of the food to the fresh flowers on the table.We both finished with café gourmand €10 which was perfect.We will return.

Fabulous beach restaurant located at the far end of La Nartelle beach in Sainte Maxime. The location is absolutely stunning and this restaurant reminds me of childhood holidays on the French Riviera, absolutely zero pretensions. It is the complete opposite of the rather "blingy" beach clubs found at Pampelonne and other places on the Côte d'Azur where style triumphs over substance. Excellent food and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere! The two guys that run the place (father and son I think) are absolutely charming and the waitresses are also great and really friendly. Come here for the day, take a matela on the beach for sunbathing and swimming, followed by a fabulous long lunch in the shade and a game of pétanque. Love this place!
