Charbon Rouge - Sainte-Julie

Very good food . Amazing place, cozy , very good prices . It's a must . . . Specials are great. We tried the burger, the tartare, the burger steak, everything was awesome ! !

My wife and I visited this amazing restaurant located in Ste-Julie, Quebec. It is situated in three restaurant complex just off the highway in the South Shore of Montréal. From the amazing reception at the door to its great decor and welcoming atmosphere, it’s...just perfect. The knowledgeable and curious staff took there time to walk us through their menu and always kept our water glass full. Something that you don’t see as often in other places. For our meal we started with a Cesar salad. I ordered the Rib-Eye Steak and my wife had the Filet Mignon. Both were AAA Black Angus and were cooked to perfection. We sided our steaks with the Pommes de terre Monte Carlo. Just great. You got to try them. As an added bonus it’s a bring your own wine concept. We definitely recommend the Charbois Rouge. GS

Our friends took us to this restaurant for steak and we were so happy with this choice! The meals were delicious and we were all happy with the quality of our steaks as well as how they were cooked. The vegetables were delicious as well...and I would love to have the recipe for the glaze they put on them. The service was terrific. We hope we have a chance to go back here again!

When two can dine for and bring your own wine, that\'s a good deal! Good food, good service, but it\'s in a small locale, so it can get quite noisy. RSVNs necessary.

Went for diner at this place for the first time, and we where very please with our decision. Food is excellent, with high quality ingredients. You get a good size portion of meat and kind of veggies, plus fries or baked potato. Menu is...quite limited but every one should find a good choice. You bring your own beer and whine, The place is small, make a reservation, and best to be persons, because twosomes might be a bit sqeezed....
