Having been slightly delayed, I arrived at this restaurant on the square just before 1pm. I was seated at the only table and then, despite pleas, left for 30 minutes before I could even order a glass of wine. Ordering the food took another 10 minutes. It was market day so much could be forgiven. The food, however, is wonderfully eccentric for a deeply rural little village bar/restaurant. I had the set menu (about 22 euros for two courses). There was no choice. The starter was sashimi of tuna served on a bed of shredded leeks. Wonderful. The main course was hake served in a misso soup with rice and a lovely green salad on the side. Tardiness of service meant I had to skip dessert to get to an appointment. 2 Courses and a glass of red came to 29 euros. Would I go again? Yes, but preferably not on a Wednesday and even then, with time to spare.
This is a excellent restaurant. We did enjoy a wonderful evening with very good food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would come-back at anytime.
We came late without reservation and were happily accepted. Octopus salad and Red was delicious and service was friendly. Seems like the staff and the chef are happy at this place.
Fish good with Interesting vegetables which were unfortunately undercooked(some too hard to cut with a knife). We would have liked a starter included in the menu du jour . We found the cost of the wine excessive......a carafe would have been welcome .Portions were small. Service was excellent and friendly but flies in the exterior terrace spoilt the ambiance.
