Interlude - Saint-Trojan-les-Bains

We ate here for lunch one day while we were on holiday. It was comfortably the best meal we had during our stay and everyone raved about it for the rest of the holiday! The lady who served us was very friendly, and did so much to help us during our meal. She happily explained some of the menu items (we are conversant in french but not familiar with a few of the items). She offered us special kids food for the little ones, which made things so easy, while still ensuring they had a proper meal of fresh cooked fish. A couple of us had the seabass for main which was cooked to perfection. Lovely vegetables accompanying. Hubby had the steak which was delicious. The service was really friendly and helpful. The courtyard area of the restaurant was light and airy. If I’m honest the one slight negative was dessert they were nice enough but not amazing. Still, we left happy enough and no one thought the worse of the restaurant for it. Overall a lovely meal and one I would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic meal of the highest standard enjoyed Tuna was highly recommended by son. Fish in batter on menu enfant very good also. Reasonably priced. Very happy indeed. Merci bien

Incroyable! Nous nous sommes régalés de l'entrée au dessert. Des assiettes pleines de saveurs et joliment présentées. A ne pas rater.

Really an excellent restaurant where everything was impeccable from beginning to end. The warm welcome by the very friendly hostess. varied and original map. Have tried the knives in Spanish; good and well seasoned, followed by tataki of bonite, subtle and tasteful.Prices are affordable. The restaurant is often full, so it is best to book. An address to be recommended, if necessary ...
