Auberge du Mange Grenouille

This place is worth the visit ! We had a small private room, the library, for the family, great !There is also a lovely table next to a fountain in another room, or maybe you prefer the view on the St-Lawrence and Bic park.We had the menu degustation and it was excellent ! We would have liked a bit more of it but we ended totally full -:)Dessert is not as great as the rest of the menu, maybe a bit too sweet.Overall, a great experience and definitely one you must try if you cross the region.Enjoy!

A colleague suggested we try the Auberge. We did so because we needed a place to stop on the way to Perce! Man, am I ever glad we did. The food and the service were excellent. The room was comfortable but quirky as is the entire Auberge. The Market Menu - a tasting menu with matching wines - was worth the price of admission. It has to rank among the finer dinner experiences we have had with exceptional food, wine and down-to-earth service.

Great atmosphere and service, we enjoyed our evening at the restaurant. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The food was good. I ordered the scallops as appetizer, and got 2 small scallops for 20$. The plate was really good but overpriced for the size and content. The bison and filet mignon were OK.I cannot give a 4 as I felt very disappointed with the content and size of the plates. Maybe my expectations were too high because the site is so cute and the reviews are very good.

This was an adorable place to stay. So beautifully decorated and charmant. Rooms are small but lovely and the grounds are charming with small waterfalls, a view of a river, gardens and a jacuzzi we dipped into at 9 pm. You even have luxurious bathrobes in the rooms to take to the jacuzzi. The best part are the dinners. High end food of Michilin star quality. Full breakfast included in price with eggs Benedict, or omlette.

This charming auberge with its inventive decor also offers gourmet local foods and an excellent liquor and wine list. Sommelier very knowledgeable. Great fun.
