Carnivores Meats Drinks - Saint Robert

On our last meal in St. Louis before heading home, we found this hidden gem. I ordered the sampler platter and my husband had the smoked chicken wings with sweet and spicy bbq sauce. Everything was delicious. We had no complaints. My only issue is that we didn’t find this spot sooner. The cherry on top of a delicious meal was Pablo (an active military member) and our waitress Kiara. They were friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to talk too. Pablo, thank you for your service! Military families, the next time you are in St. Louis, stop by for a great meal!

Food is small amount for the price they are asking. Bathroom dirty?, floor under table dirty?. The window dusty and unclean. Went for lunch arrived 20 min after opening we arrived and ordered jalapeño poppers was told after 25 minutes of waiting that they did not have any poppers on hand, so we waited another 10 minutes for food so roughly 35 minutes to receive their carnivores burger, which was half the size of what they actually advertise, pork pulled quesadilla , chicken, quesadilla and a steak and fries. Where to even begin ??? The fries not fried, very soft, order chicken quesadillas the meat was dried out cheese dried out like it sat awhile very small portions not like advertised. Order a steak asked for med rare and Center was raw. Had already sent back fries and got a new order for quesadillas. But fries came back fast like they just reput them in fryer. No change for the quesadillas dried out but they double the portions. Did not even mention the steak by then we just wanted to leave. The manager was helpful and tried to fix it but who ever was cooking was not making it better. They did charge us for a half portion instead of a full portion quesadilla order and gave us a plate of wings. The manager, the waitress and the bartender were very nice. Can’t be mad at them for the lack of quality and quantity of the food from the cook. I would give your advertising team a raise because they got us to drive two hours to this restaurant, definitely will not be returning following or recommending this place to my friends or family. Again, nothing to do with the front staff. It was the cook, lack of effort, quality of food and quantity of food …that is what brought this place down that and how dirty it is. Wasted 99.00 today

Ribeye Steak was dry, thin and hard to cut, flavor was ok, not worth $30. Was highly recommended, I would not recommend myself. I’m not upset, just disappointed. Small, clean, music is random but nice. If they can make the steaks match the price, it would be great.

Absolutely spectacular experience! Owner/staff were very welcoming, food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and the restaurant was very nice! If we didn't live 12+ hrs away we would be back on a weekly basis!

Nice and clean. Great, friendly service. Food was fabulous. Steaks did not disappoint this Nebraska girl! Sides were wonderful. Cornbread was delicious. Great whiskey selection! Thank you!
