Olsen Butik - Saint-Raphaël

I should begin by saying we had the prix fixé lunch menu and, given that it was an assemblage, it would be difficult to give a score of five stars though it was a very pleasant light lunch of smoked salmon on a Scandinavian bread base with salad of lettuce, fine beans and apple. All was very fresh and sharp on the palate and an ideal light lunch.If we return to St Raphael we may well explore the menu further, fairly certain that it will be a rewarding experience.

Very friendly reception in the restaurant. Kind for the children. Surprising tastes of simple dishes of Danish meals. You will like to go on holiday to Danmark after Your visit. We loved these new tastes A Chablis at 25€ is also a surprise ☺️

Lovely evening. A charming and welcoming couple. Fantastic food. We couldn't have made a better choice for a meal on a hot evening. Away from the crowds this is a super find. Delicious Scandinavian dishes - all prepared with the greatest care in front of you. The food looks wonderful on the plate but tastes even better - excellent quality, very fresh ingredients and all carefully explained with great attention. The sweet cured herring is unbelievable! And the pancakes with fruit coulis may sound simple but they are good. Will definitely be back on next visit to Frejus. Repas sublime. Accueil chaleureux. Le hareng - goût incroyable. After sampling delicious French cuisine in various locations it was a very pleasant surprise to find a completely different style of cooking. If you like smoked salmon, smoked trout, herring and generally healthy Nordic style food then Olsen Butik is definitely the place to go. The welcome is very friendly and they spoke much better English than I spoke French. Ask anything you need about the menu and you will get the meal that suits you. This is a small, friendly restaurant where the food is prepared in front of you. For an alternative to classic French cuisine this is the place to go.
