Ted Peters Famous Smoked Fish

I belong to a group called St Pete Foodies and you get a variety of really good (and some bad) reviews to eat in great places. Someone mentioned Ted 's yesterday and I had a sudden need to go there. If the food is good enough that the mere mention of a name or plate calls tendons for which you are ready to drive; good, for me that's some great food. I was at Ted once. had only the mole and salmon. I have the same. All right, don't try anything else. Yes. 2 beers ordered. Casey shortened them and cold frosty cups. Fish, as good as I didn't even pay much attention to the pages. When I couldn't finish my meal, Casey has wrapped my entire meal to go. I mean everything. Tomatoes, onion, pimple garnish, all spices, then did the same for my husband. I tipped her 20%. When I came home and looked at the packaging order, 20% did not seem enough. This place opens 11:30. It was at 12 o'clock. A lot of walkup traffic. Watching this local work is like seeing a well-oiled machine. If you find the idea of sitting picnic tables, order the food to go. but order it. I personally find the casual atmosphere charming. It's a smokehouse. A clean, well run, really good food, smokehouse. Thank you. Case

I tried to make the time to come to Ted Peters for the last few years and finally did it and absolutely was not disappointed. If you like smoked fish, it will not be better or fresher. The portions are large and the dinner is a pound of fish, so it is safe enough for two. The only negative thing I saw was that they charge 2 dollars for an additional plate and knife and fork that is stupid when you pay 22 dollars for a fish dinner. Overall I recommend it and btw make sure and get the fish diving also....from the chain!

This was my first time to go to Ted Peters, even if I wanted to go for years! It was great! I can't say enough about our waitress, she was excellent! I wanted to remember her name. You have a limited menu, but if you do something so well, why extend the menu? I will definitely return!!

Absolutely loved. The Mahi-mahi was wonderful that the potato salad would not have been better. Loved all about the meal services great good price on design beer.

A Florida landmark, family owned, a must do in the Pasadena area. The smoked mahai is fantastic, the German potato salad with pieces of smoked fish, and coleslaw are great, and I don’t like coleslaw. They have a limited beer menu. But the clam chowder is very good with lots of clam pieces. Service, excellent. We will return. Been there, got the T-shirt.
