We sat at the bar and had amazing service throughout. Stingers pizza is phenomenal and definitely try the salad pizza too. Will be back (multiple times)!!! Already looking forward to our leftovers.
Love the hot oil pizza here! A sleeper hit is the breakfast pizza. So delicious. And I?d be remiss not to mention the amazing service here. Everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming! Definitely stop in for some pie and a beer.
We stopped at Colony Grill because of its great location on Central Ave and because they had many outdoor tables were we could park our bikes. Great spot for people watching. Having said that, we went in with low expectations because they ONLY serve PIZZA. See photos of their whole menu, that is it. Limited topping options and only one Crust. We are very picky on Crust and I only like thin crispy Crust, and they got it perfect! You start with a $10 pie, then add toppings for$1.75 each. We went with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, and black olives. It was delicious!
Wonderful for our friends and their kids! We must have ordered 10 pizzas and they were all piping hot and amazing. The hot oil, sausage, anchovy, pepper, olive (etc) pizza was my favorite! Beers and cheer to wash them down. Great place!
This place was just okay. Colony Grill was very clean inside and had the space divided between the bar side and the dining side at 8:00 on a Saturday night. We were surprised that it was pretty much empty except for at the bar when all the surrounding restaurants were packed. Our server was okay, nothing special, but probably because there's not much to do since there's only one item on the menu. Menu. The one item is pizza, apparently pizza from their original restaurants inConnecticut. The pizza itself was not great. This is the first time ever that I have had to put salt on a pizza to give it flavor. We used all of the toppings on the table to help with the flavor of the pizza. It was extremely greasy andall of the toppings were just piled on top. One of the diners at our table compared it to Red Baron pizza with fresher ingredients. They also only give you small paper plates to eat off of so the amount of grease is crazy. They could atleast get real plates for the dining side and use the paper plates for the bar side. This just felt lazy. Most of the wait staff was huddled around the front of the restaurant chatting the whole time we were there because there was onlytwo full tables in the dining side and a couple tables out front that people were eating at. Overall, we would not be back. There are too many good pizza places within walking distance of this that have other options on their menu, realutensils and plates, and just have overall better food. I'm sure for the people that lived in CT, this is probably a great throwback pizza for them, but for the average diner this place was not good.
