Hucks - Saint Peters

I stopped visiting this gas station years ago because of various issues, but having returned, I can see that they have made a remarkable turnaround for the better. The place is clean, offers some of the best gas prices around, and the employees are friendly. There’s also a wide variety of food and dessert options available. It has a modern feel overall. However, the soda machine stands out as an exception; it looks outdated and seems to be at least 10 years behind the times. Each drink has its own dispenser, which is a bit unusual. That’s really the only noticeable flaw I could find, but it’s not significant enough to warrant a lower rating.

The cashiers are friendly, and the prices are reasonable thanks to an excellent rewards program. They also offer the option to pay via phone.

The restaurant was quite packed, but the staff did an excellent job working hard to satisfy a particularly difficult and rude customer. They never lowered themselves to his level and treated him with respect, even though he didn't deserve it. This was a wonderful reminder for everyone about how to handle challenging situations with grace.

Excellent gas prices! The area around the pumps is always kept clean.

I strongly advise against using the women's restroom! It was in a terrible state, with paper towels scattered everywhere, trash overflowing, and extremely dirty toilets. One toilet was even filled with toilet paper and other unsanitary conditions. To make matters worse, the staff were just standing around, seemingly not taking any action to address the mess.
