We were able to taste most of the Basque specialty, which was very well cooked. the only flat was the waiting time for the service, but given the frame, and that we were on vacation, it goes without problem.
The reception is pleasant, the kitchen is good but not transcendent in the sense that it is not typical. otherwise, little wait until the dessert we waited for about 1 hour to be served. those who arrived just after us waited a lot of time. But we didn't stay on our hunger. The addition is salted compared to other more refined restaurants. the manager made us a commercial gesture of 4€ spontaneously, for waiting. However, we remain satisfied.
Second attempt at this restaurant (the first time, after 25 minutes without cards, and a server that ignored us completely, we had ended up leaving). And what a night! a terrible lack of professionalism and organisation on the part of the team, which I think is not even to put on account of the season or fatigue. As for the kitchen... a catastrophe... no seasoning, no fairness in cooking, raw and oily served pdts (of course without salt)...From the village, our opinion has been intersected with friends who have all had this same kind of "meading"...It's nice to create a restaurant, to modern decor, brand new, to put a lot of money on it, but restaurateur is
Very good meal accompanied by a jazz orchestra. dishes are served quickly with very kind and professional waitress. beautiful evening in a small Basque village very typical.
From crossing to st pee on nivelle for holidays and lovers of good food we stopped in this restaurant to find food with freshness more than doubtful. The service was deplorable. dishes brought to the table without the cutlery, a waitress that blows on any occasion (pain, water, question): in short, the impression of disturbing. - dishes without taste or seasoning - a pressing and unorganized service ( sauces brought at the end of the meal) - wine glasses from the dishwasher still hot and not wiped out. in short a real disspect for the trade of a restaurateur with their being "homemade" reviews to tourists, especially never stop there!!!
