Tori - Saint Paul

This food was a revelation and has truly set a new standard for what ramen should taste like. Without a doubt, it's the best ramen I've ever had and arguably one of the top restaurants in the Twin Cities for its price point. The broth was incredibly flavorful and savory—I'm still salivating as I write this review. I've come to realize that the noodles from other places I've tried pale in comparison to these. Although the food did take a bit of time to arrive, it’s understandable given the level of care that goes into its preparation. So be patient; it's absolutely worth the wait. Make sure to drop your other plans and give Tori a try. I highly recommend the “Com Saw Mi Da” and the “Tori Fried Chicken.” The server mentioned that their menu changes with the seasons, so these dishes might not be available depending on when you visit.

The service left something to be desired. It was a Monday night, and the staff was composed mainly of trainees who had just come off a busy weekend, but it still felt like it needed improvement. I genuinely believe this restaurant has a lot of potential; however, at the moment, it lacks that extra spark. I might consider giving it another shot in the future, hoping for improvements, but for now, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again. As for vegetarian options, nearly all of the ramen soups can be customized to be vegetarian or vegan. Just be aware that some flavors may be confusing due to certain dishes containing fish pastes or mushrooms that have a meaty taste. Regarding parking, there's always space available on West 7th, but be cautious when crossing the street.

The Korean fried chicken was absolutely delicious! I had to use a fork and knife since the pieces were quite large. It's worth mentioning that on Saturday nights, the restaurant closes at 9 PM and then reopens at 10 PM with a special late-night menu.

First trip to Tori and it was fantastic. The interior (a built out train car) is modern and inviting, with great lighting. The menu is chock full of amazing choices, making it a guarantee that I’ll be back. Service was attentive and knowledgeable … You should go!Food: 5/5

We had gone to Tori a number of times before they moved in 2019, and this is our first time in the new space. MAGICAL. Great date atmosphere, the ramen is still AMAZING, and staff was so kind too.Vegetarian options: Vegan options are easy and REALLY delicious.
