We started with their delicious mega pretzel, which came in a beautiful Bretzel chest with a soft and fluffy interior, served with jalapeno cheese dips. My wife had the chicken apple brat and I chose the New Orleans Cajun andouille brat with plenty of toppings. My wife loved the apple slaw and I added pfeffer and wobble. For an additional $5, you can turn your brats into a meal with fries and a beer, which are both tasty. The beer selection for the meal deal is limited, but the separate choices are impressive, including craft brews with alcohol content up to almost 15%. The atmosphere is laid-back and when the weather permits, they open the walls to the outside. There are large-screen TVs throughout the restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff was helpful in making choices. We had a great experience at both the St. Paul and Golden Valley locations, with the only downside being the store-bought chicken finger. Overall, everything was fresh and delicious.
I went to see Journey at the Excel Center and wanted to find a place to eat and drink before the show. It was our first time there, so we were unsure of the process. The restaurant was busy and there was a line. When we reached the front counter, I felt a bit silly, but I asked how to be seated since it was our first time. The man (whose name I wish I could remember) who took our order was very kind and patient in explaining the process to us as we looked over the menu at the counter. He was pleasant and attentive to us, even making food suggestions. The restaurant was almost full, but we were eventually able to find a spot. I usually don't enjoy crowded spaces, but the experience at the restaurant was worth it. The food tasted even better because of the great service we received. I would definitely recommend checking them out.
Large selection of bratwursten with a lot of delicious toppings available. very extensive selection of craft be on tap. tends to be very crowded before mn wild home games.
Sponsored, a busy Sunday afternoon before the wild game. but a brat that tasted nothing like it 10 dollar price (lamb gyro), was barely luke warm and cold pommes make this a 1, fortunately the beer was good.
I only went in for some drinks and appetizers. Everything was good, but not exceptional enough to make me want to come back. The cheese curds were tasty, but they're pretty standard fare. I might return in the future to try their specialty sausages.
