It was unexpectedly closed. Had to eat at the bar. Good fine but not what we wanted.
This was my second visit and I ordered the halibut that came with Morel mushrooms; however, when delivered there were no morel mushrooms. When I inquired about them, the manager came out w/dried morel mushrooms…..I did place them on my dish; however, I removed them. Later that night I became ill and discovered that morels if uncooked or under cooked are toxic! When I spoke with the Manager to let him know the mushrooms should be cooked, he stated he didn’t know? I do not recommend. Meal cost $70 I am still sick to my stomach.
The ambiance is bright and interesting. There are many different seating/table arrangements that can accommodate almost all preferences/needs. The menu had just changed but the steak frites was tempting so we both ordered it and were not disappointed. The steak was huge and perfectly prepared with enough left over for a second meal. Yum. The dessert menu is short but the selections are all worth trying. Our server was personable, helpful and at times hilariously entertaining. We will definitely be back!
I had breakfast and dinner. The eggs were very salty and the hash browns had a ton off pepper and so over cooked they were inedible. I had the scallops and squash risotto that had no flavor and again over seasoned the scallops with pepper. Not everyone likes pepper on their food. That is why they we have salt and pepper shakers. Stop seasoning food to someone else's tastes. On a positive note, the service was superior. Thank you!
