Grandma's Bakery - Saint Paul

I stopped by to pick up a couple dozen donuts at 6 AM and had to wait 10 minutes. Although the website and door sign say they open at 6, that wasn't the case. I'm heading to Dunkin' instead!

It's Saturday, so one would expect the bakery items to be fresh, right? Unfortunately, I again encountered stale-tasting treats with a dry texture. It feels like they prepare the items, freeze them, and then let them thaw. That's the impression I've gotten during my last few visits to Grandma's in Downtown WBL.

After an early morning engagement photoshoot at Motaska Park, I decided to explore downtown White Bear Lake. I had breakfast at a local bar and grill but was in the mood for something fresh for dessert. I made my way to Grandma's Bakery, which caught my eye on the downtown map. I ordered three shots of hot espresso and a Danish pastry. The service was quick, the location was clean, and it was an overall great experience! I would definitely stop by again.

First time trying this place this week. They didn't listen to my order. I didn't receive the birthday cake I ordered... so disappointing. I was so upset. I just took this cake because I didn't have time today to wait around for them to make me thecake that I actually ordered. I also purchased muffins chocolate chip banana) and it was very dry and fell apart. Also oddlythe price for this cake showed as $7.75 in the window but when I purchased it... it became 12 something. Overall I wouldn'trecommend this place to anyone

Love Grandmas Bakery! Smells so good and fresh the minute you pull in the parking lot. They have every type of delicious donut, muffin, cookie, cake etc. Amazing, and very talented, cake decorators! I 've ordered a few cakes for graduations, baby showers,and baptisms. Very helpful and creative input when needing help making all the important decisions that goes along with a Custom Cake. Also, I ran into a very friendly and helpful employee that helped me make a selection for my sweet tooth! ????Go Bears!!!! ????????????????????????
