Dunn Bros Coffee - Saint Paul

This is the best coffee shop, without a doubt! Every staff member is friendly and incredibly helpful. They offer excellent light and medium roasts, along with fantastic americanos, both hot and iced. You can also enjoy board games while you're there, and they showcase artwork from local artists. The outdoor area is charming, and the drive-thru service is always efficient! Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention their delicious avocado toast!

The breakfast sandwiches here are fantastic! Made to order, the biscuits are both delicious and generously sized. The staff is friendly and the coffee is excellent as well.

I'm surprised this place is so highly rated. A long time ago, I visited a Dunn Brothers in Minneapolis, and my last sip of coffee was filled with coffee grounds. If you've never experienced that, it's really unpleasant. Because of that incident, I didn't return to Dunn Brothers for over a decade. I'm usually a Starbucks fan, but a good friend wanted to go to Dunn Brothers recently, so I went along. I ordered a plain iced coffee and was taken aback by how bitter it tasted. I only managed a few sips before I had to throw it away. I can make much better coffee at home.

I like coming here on the weekends to study. It's never too busy. I don't recommend the chocolate croissant ????. Chocolate was way too sweet and had seized. The coffee is ok.

I ordered online for a specific pickup time. Items were not ready and the staff was not helpful. I was told to wait. Fine. When staff asked what I was waiting for, they became rude. Drinks were the wrong size. Food order was handed to me incomplete.I will definitely stick with Starbucks for all future coffee and breakfast needs/wants.
