Przekaż informację zwrotnąThe customer service was disappointing. We ordered chicken fried rice, but after half an hour, we were informed that it was unavailable. When we requested an alternative dish, they were unprepared with our replacement order. To make matters worse, the restaurant owner expressed their frustration by grunting and rolling their eyes. I won't be returning, although the food itself was good.
The older Korean gentleman who took our order was friendly but struggled with English and seemed easily distracted. Unfortunately, the Mexican staff member was rude and condescending, which really impacted my appetite. When I asked for the total of my order, he raised his voice to tell me the amount, which felt unnecessary. When our food was served, he even chased after the older gentleman who had brought food to my friend just to ensure she had paid, despite the fact that she had already paid him in cash before I even placed my order. We were the only customers there, yet it was surprisingly challenging to get them to take our order, provide our total, and get takeout bags. To add to the frustration, both of our bills came to over $10 more than expected. I understand there are taxes, but my $44 order for three dishes ended up costing $54 and some change. We weren't given a receipt, so we had to peek over the counter at the receipts they were holding to discover that a gratuity had also been added without prior notice. It would have been nice to be informed about that upfront or to receive an itemized receipt instead of having to figure it out ourselves. We dine out often, so it's not that we didn't want to tip, but when the bill exceeds expectations, questions understandably arise. Unfortunately, I won't be returning here and will instead choose a place where the staff actually appreciates my business and treats me like a valued customer.
The food was average. I was not impressed by the overall appearance of the restaurant. The tables were sticky, and even though we arrived right when it opened, there were still leftover trays of food from the previous day left out. Drink cases were scattered all over the floor near the entrance, and large cardboard boxes were piled on some of the dining tables. The place gave off a dirty vibe, suggesting that they don't prioritize cleanliness. Entrees were priced between $10 and $15. Overall, I won't be returning to this restaurant; I'll continue to go to my usual spot in Maplewood.

The place itself needs a definite refresh. Decor is pretty sad, tables seem a little dirty, and no vibe or ambience to speak of. But the food is excellent!! I'll most definitely be back, but only to-go orders I think. P.s. they only take cash or venmo!
