The staff were friendly and accommodating, speaking English with ease. They had a great selection of craft beers, though there were no beverages from larger macro brands. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, but I was taken aback by the prices being a bit on the high side. Upon receiving our bill, we were surprised to find it significantly higher than expected. Upon further scrutiny, we noticed that prices for some items were higher than what was listed on the menu. When we inquired about this discrepancy, the waitress informed us that there had been a recent price increase and that we had been given outdated menus. It was disappointing that this wasn't mentioned when we were seated or when we placed our order. Despite my persistence, the only concession made was a $5 discount on the nachos we had ordered, with no effort to adjust the prices to match the menu. The excuse of outdated menus seemed flimsy and unsatisfactory. Though we should have pushed for a full reconsideration of the bill, we were exhausted from a long day of traveling and didn't want to argue. It would be beneficial for the staff and management to be mindful of industry pricing standards and uphold the prices displayed on their menus.
I dined at this restaurant for the first time and was impressed with the quick and friendly service. The menu offered pub-style fare with a variety of dishes and beers, fitting for a microbrewery. The cozy decor included an outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying the summer weather. There were plenty of screens for sports fans to catch the game. I had the hamburger, fries, and slaw which I found satisfying. The attentive staff, despite the place being busy, made sure I didn't feel rushed. This is a great spot for a night out with friends or colleagues, but be prepared for a high noise level due to its popularity. I would definitely come back for another visit.
The service provided by Kristina was exceptional, and the food was also very good. They have a great selection of beer, and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning soon. The only downside is that they do not have open Wifi.
While the location is not ideal, it is worth the detour. The ambiance is very casual (with leather couches), the beer is excellent and the food is good. The loaded nachos are far superior to anything in the US.
There is a tremendous selection of beer, which was impressive! The service was average- friendly but on the slow side which I attributed them getting prepared for the New Years bash that night. The staff wasn 't just standing around they were hustling and bustling. They did come when we needed them. So I 'm sure on other days they are great. FOOD: My niece got the nachos which she said was really good. I tried some and they were nachos. Not the best and not the worst I 've ever had. My husband got a funky type of pizza- he loved it, my niece liked it, and me? Well, I wasn 't sold on it and it wasn 't that it didn 't taste good, it did. The crust was nice and on the thin side which I liked, the toppings were really good, but the sauce I wasn 't expecting. It was still good, just really different and not a traditional sauce, which is probably why he liked it so much- we eat A LOT of pizza. (Hey I 'm Italian what can you expect? The Onion Soup? Oh yes, the onion soup. I ordered it because I was freezing cold from walking around Québec and needed something to warm up. I couldn 't eat it fast enough because it was so hot! But that cheese! The cheese was so thick and bubbly and the soup was a great balance of bread vs. onions. The broth was not just powdered beef bouillon; IT WAS REAL! Which was a nice surprise and I 'd expect nothing less from a Québec restaurant. (On the menu it says Onion Soup everywhere else I have been, other than Québec, restaurant menus say French Onion Soup . I had a chuckle over this. Is there actually an English Onion Soup out there? If you 've gotten this far reading, give them a try as you won 't be disappointed- just realize that there is a far larger selection of beer than food on the menu, but the food they do have on the menu is yummy!
