Lou Lou Food Drink - Saint Matthews

Café Lou Lou is a favorite spot for one of my colleagues, and I can understand why it's a popular choice for a ladies' lunch. They offer an excellent menu featuring pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and salads, all set in an eclectic and artsy atmosphere with a local touch. My friend always orders their personal BBQ chicken pizza, but I've chosen something different each time, and I haven't been disappointed yet. So far, I really enjoyed the chicken piccata pasta and the gyro sandwich, but there are so many enticing options on the menu that I can't wait to try more. The restaurant is quite small and tends to fill up quickly, so it's a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation if you plan to visit for dinner on a Friday or lunch on a Sunday.

I’m not usually a fan of Italian cuisine, and when I saw that this restaurant specialized in it, I didn’t expect to enjoy it. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The service was attentive and quick, and the food was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the Pan-Seared Scallops with Orzo, and let me tell you, the scallops were incredible—large, fresh, and perfectly tender. I had never tried orzo before, but this dish was so delicious that I can’t wait to return. They also offer a wonderful selection of appetizers, and their menu caters to a wide range of tastes. Another highlight is that you can order a half entrée, which is perfect for me since I often can't finish a full meal. The half portion was just right, leaving me with a little extra to take home for lunch the next day. Yum! I can’t wait to go back!
