One young and tried hard , the other smile less ..and it wasn’t the mask . Get organised and add more staff and this place should do extremely well . Get a genial front of house ! The menu asks guests to be patient having ordered food ..how patient should we be before receiving the menu? Last week we asked for water and another bottle of wine before the dessert..still waiting …
Mothers' Day, May 2021 a warm Sunday with the terrace completely full, all diners outside of course in view of the Covid regulations. The hotel and restaurant are in beautiful wooded surroundings in the valley of the Calavon, completely isolated though overlooking the fairly busy D900 between Apt and Céreste. The young serving staff were very busy and there was a bit of a delay between courses. The meal could have been 20 mins shorter, but service was as prompt as one could hope for in the circumstances, and when we asked to be moved to another table our request was treated with a smile, promptly and courteously. Service could not be faulted for a restaurant of this type but I can't give full marks because of the delay though it was an exceptionally busy day. There was music playing from speakers, mostly American soul, not too loud but not really appropriate for a Sunday lunch. Our meal was excellent, cooked with flair and originality. A cold terrine of asparagus with goat's cheese cream was followed by a perfectly cooked piece of monkfish for my guest and tender pork for myself, both with delicious accompaniments There was no choice for dessert, but this mattered not at all it was delicious! The Sunday lunch menu is €36, but lunches on weekdays are much cheaper. With apéritifs, a 50cl bottle of a nearby producer's Luberon white, and coffee, the total came to €115 but was worth every penny despite the longer than average waits between courses. All food is sourced locally as far as possible, wine likewise: a good point. Thoroughly recommended.
This stage is ideally located for cyclists who take the bike path, the velvet between Cereste and Robion, The welcome is friendly, the service is coming and the dishes are very good,
Very nice place but attention to the rental of the cottage we are one next to the other. Little privacy. The restaurant with delicious dishes!
