Maple taffy on the snow... a true delight! The pea soup was good and seemed homemade. The eggs, sliced ham, and sausages were basic and greasy. The beans were great. However, the dessert was a disappointment. Coffee, milk, and water were readily available. Bring your own wine! The staff were friendly and smiling, but the meal was lacking ham hock and bacon. The beets were excellent. (See attached photo).
This family-friendly sugar shack is excellent! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. It's a true authentic sugar shack experience, not commercialized at all.
We made a reservation for a group of 22 people, but the last four arrived late. However, the restaurant had no problem accommodating them and our service was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. This is a great place for a memorable dining experience.
I was surprised about the quality of food - good taste- of a @ z. c was excellant - their little crepes are super - it's different. we all loved - the price is also reasonable - yes we are a little bit wet but that is the charm of the huts - it is the one we will make our family meeting next year
