Pizzeoli Wood Fired Pizza - Saint Louis

Each time we pass through St. Louis, we make it a point to stop at Pizzeoli, and our experience is consistently fantastic! They offer oil-free, organic options, and the food is delicious! We are impressed with every part of our visit, but we especially want to commend our bartender, Daniel. His service is exceptional, and he truly deserves a raise! Thank you, Daniel! We can’t wait to come back and see you all again!

I was visiting from out of state for a short stay and opted for pizza. After reading plenty of positive reviews about this place, I was hopeful, but I think I might have hit it on an off day. The pizza was thin but floppy, the wings tasted like they were from a Tyson microwaveable bag, and the breaded cheese balls were clearly frozen. The total came to just shy of $70. Back in Indiana, we would call this Little Caesars, and it would have cost me only $25. I really hope this was just a one-time issue and not reflective of their usual quality because, to be honest, it was lukewarm and disappointing. My family and I left feeling let down.

Absolutely deserves more than 5 stars! Every positive review you’ve read is spot on. The wood-fired pizza is fantastic — we tried the Nappoli and Golf Cart varieties, and they were delicious. The service at the bar was excellent, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance of lively yet comfortable. Although there was a wait, it was definitely worth it. This place is truly special. Thank you!

I would describe the pizza in one word, sophisticated. We had an overall great dining experience. We told our server that we weren't in a rush, and he paced our meal perfectly. The drinks were fantastic, the aranchi appetizer was delicious, and our meatball pizza was amazing. It was worth every penny. Highly recommended.
