Lam's Garden - Saint Louis

First time vistor must say that the Special Fried rice was delicious. Will have to return for a repeat. The owner stated that I will be back.

During my visit, I noticed a customer return their order, claiming that the duck tasted spoiled. The staff handled the situation appropriately. As for my own meal, I ordered a shrimp St. Paul sandwich, but I found it unappetizing—the shrimp were dry and I couldn't finish it. I also tried the rice, but when I bit into a piece of meat, it was surprisingly unappetizing.

This restaurant only accepts cash, but the food is quite good overall. However, the crab rangoons were disappointing; they weren't sweet at all.

It's not my first choice in St. Louis, but they definitely deserve a spot in the top 5.

I used to visit this restaurant often when I was a child, and when I returned as an adult, it lived up to my memories. The fried rice was excellent—definitely the best in University City!
